Hi everyone,

this is my updated character Kyuzo (Seiji Miyaguchi) from the movie Seven Samurai, directed by Akira Kuroswa.
I like the movie and specially this character very much.
Modeling and textures in Zbrusch, refining the Maps in Photosho and rendering in 3DS Max2011 using Mental Ray and SS Fast Skin Shader. Post was done in Photoshop.
Crits and comments are welcome

Wow, Amazing work!

He looks identical, keep the good work!

I love that movie! Pure art, I am a little sad that directors fell the need to make a remake.

Yes it's pure art as most Kurosawa movies. The hollywood remake : "The Magnificent Seven" doesn't compare to the original movie at all. Anyhow, I love that movie and I bought the uncut original version which is about 3 1/2 hours and has much more details in the story.

I would prefer dangerous instead of murderous. He is a very skilled samurai but no killer ;-)

Yes, some of the skin pores appear a bit too big in some areas.
