Where are the posters?

Do you remember the thread "Is this forun dying a slow dead?" ... time has come to ask the same question.

Where are the Blender posters around here?

People, just remember -or do an history search- how difficult was for us to get a Blender forum here over CGTalk (where all the really Big Boys hang out).

Elysiun has it's own place and merits on the Blender community, but if Blender is ever going to make it into the mainstream, it won't be on Elysiun, it will be here!!

CGTalk is where the profesionals but non-already-blender-users hand out and critique each other, so if we really whant to help Blender gain popularity with the heavy-weight users, then we all need to do our effort to keep this forum alive, current and most of all, ACTIVE.

Blender now has the expansion power, tools, easy of use and user-support to stand proudly side-to-side with the other ¨traditional¨ 3D apps, but unless more blender users keep comming here and posting their finest works the word won't spread out.

Yep, indeed, this forum must remain, but it is not with babblings that it will gain audience or whatever. There needs to be content, pictures, talent...

Some guys like @ndy, endi and Landis are doing well in giving blender some nice pictural content, they are artist that are coming to maturity, most of the other blender users -at the moment- are still complete newbies in CG graphics i.e. I still don't know how to create a descent UVmap, I love modelling, lighting and picturing but I hate texturing...

@ndy, endi and Landis are good at all this, so there work is very professional looking.

The other users will however gain in maturity and the more the best there (our) work will be, the more interest people will see in blender...

Just saying hello to some familliar faces. I joined this place the other day and am happy to find some blender users here.

The forum here may be quiet, but in part I think that's due to the fact that blender users always find their way to elysiun for their blender specific questions. Only a few come here. Which is fine... and the way blender is developing... more will come
