Problem Rigging and Posing the Character

Hi everyone,
I recently started to use ZBrush to finish adding some detail to my models, and wanted to use the rigging abilities to finish posing the character. I've followed several tutorials but I'm having a bit of a problem finishing it. I'm using ZBrush 4R6 on OSX 10.9.2.
So here is my problem, I have a Tool with 4 subdivision levels. Following both this:

I placed my tool at the lowest subdivision, created a ZSphere Rig selecting the subtool and bound it to the subtool. Now When I move the rig I move the low subdivision character with no problem. The problem arises when I try the adaptive skin, I set the density to the highest subdivision of the original tool (4) but if I just click on preview I get the character in pose but with no detail (high polycount but no detail of the original), while if I Shift click on the preview button I get the high detail Character but in the original pose.
