CAT rigging issue - cannot add bones

Hi guys! I'm having this really odd issue when I've been trying to rig using CAT. I add the rig, move it into place and then add my skin modifier to my mesh, but when I go to add bones to the skin, it isn't displaying them.

I checked to see if I had the bones hidden in the layers or display panel, and they aren't. I'm using Max 2012 and we have all the patches that Autodesk released for the version as well.

I tried merging the scene into another scene, nothing changed. Restarted Max and nothing changed. Restarted computer and nothing changed.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong or what the issue could be? This is making me want to tear my hair out.

Have you checked that bones are visible in the "select from scene" window (h) ? Also, in tha window, check in "display" to see what is showing.

Hope this helps.

My TD and I managed to figure this out yesterday thankfully! Basically I was completely confused on why the CAT bones show up as geometry and not "regular" bones in the add bones tab. A bit of a "doh" moment for me, but also something I will never forget.
