Thank you all for your nice comments, It's very good to hear that you like it :-)
Had my thoughts on making some minor changes, but realized that I don't have the time and I'm pretty happy with the result to.

thanks for your words in my project.

Your illustration are simple GREAT... why?

In my first look, i think: waaa other space scene...
but when i look these little details... hahahahaha are GREAT!! (i love the little details).

and it also impressed the previous work in this project. belive me.

wow... shame on me I totally missed your entry Peter. I am very surprised. Maybe I was awaiting you around animation/movie category. Anyway, great final image. You are dealing with same importance of closeups as I do with my illustration, but I believe it is worth of it. It´s cool to see StarWars fan as you are doing such a jokes. Good luck mate

Good question :-)
The way I did it was by breaking up the scene in different parts but I think that the most complex scene took about 3.5 hours to render om my G5 Macintosh 2 x 2 GHz, 1.5 GB ram (not Intel).

I collected all the different "parts" that I used for the image in this image.



And the final image:

nice - and all toghether composed in PS ?

VERY nice

i've to try this technique in interior renders. Maybe it's good way to render interiors without GI - just to fake it...?

Any sugestions ? or TIPS ?

Awesome image! I laughed the instant I saw it. I just wish I was closer to the drunken action... Excellent use of light and composition. I am envious! Good luck in the challenge!
