Day At The Beach, Joe Pekar (2D)

Title: Day At The Beach
Name: Joe Pekar
Country: United States
Software: Painter, Photoshop

just something a little lighthearted to take my mind off all the hurricanes here in florida :)
most of the work was done in painter. (drawn and scanned first) and just some cleanup at the end in photoshop.

Fantastic image I love your color usage and the softness/roundness of all your creatures in your scene. On a side note it would be awesome if you sold some posters or T-shirts of some of your art.

Wonderful!

This is such a wonderful image. You really have mastered this style.
It reminds me of some of Joe Chiodo's work.

Nice site btw.
Finish the "Snow White" sketches!! :

thanks folks, glad you liked it.

danydrunk- we got hit by 3 out of the 4 hurricanes. *sigh* lots of trees down and leaky roofs all over the neighborhood. thanks for asking.

Shaykai- thanks, and i'm in the process of setting up my site to sell prints and posters of my work. So hopefully soon that'll be all set up.

AndyH- yeah, i did that schoolgirl model a ways back. thanks for diggin' it

cloudmover- thanks. I love some of the pinup stuff joe chiodo has done, so thanks again.

invix- thanks, and yeah, this style doesn't seem to fit in too much around here. and I don't do too much sci-fi/fantasy stuff, so that's why I don't post so often. but every once in a while i like to try
