Perplexing PolyFX / MoText problem

I'm following this tutorial on breaking up MoText using PolyFX and a Random Effector. When I setup my scene and render in the viewport, it looks as it shows in the tutorial.

Unfortunately, when I render I get this instead:

I've followed all the directions on the tutorial to the letter. I set my MoText Object Intermediate Points to subdivided which makes it look like i want to when I render in the viewport, but it doesn't translate to when I render it out on the picture viewer.

I've included the file incase anyone wants to take a crack at it. Thanks in advance!

I tried your scene in R12 and it is exactly the same in the editor as in the picture viewer.

I'm thinking your render view is the correct one, as that is how it looks in my editor. Subsequently, it looks the same in editor and render for me.

Perhaps it is your editor view settings that are causing the difference?

In order for me to get what you have showing in your editor view, I need to set the MoText "Intermediate Points" to "Uniform".

Perhaps you have Level Of Detail set differently for your editor and your final render.
