Naming Video Files for Mac Computers?

Hello All,

Next week we are going to deliver some Quicktime videos to a client.

We don't know whether the client will view them on Mac or PC.

Here's my question... Can Macs open files named as follows:

Also, can folder names be like this, and remain readable on Macs ?

We don't have any Macs in the office to try this out on ourselves (We are a PC-only shop).

Could someone who is a Mac user enlighten me as to how to name files for Mac?

Are there any special naming conventions or format restrictions for Mac that one needs to be aware of when naming files?

Thanks for any help,

Why do you think that Macs require special naming conventions?

We don't have any Macs or Mac users in the office, so we can't try out ourselves what filenames Macs accept or don't.

I'm asking because I don't want our Client calling us after delivery and saying "Hey! I can't play these files on my Mac desktop or Macbook Pro. There is something wrong with them."

That would be embarassing & unprofessional.

So I'm wondering if there are any special filename conventions that one needs to be aware of when publishing files to Mac...

Will work. Don't use : or / in filenames or any umlaut like , , .
