AE How to make dust ?

Hi ,
i want to know How to create dust particals in AfterEffects....
i make an animation in AE ie " Tractor is going one side to another" so i want to make dust behind the tractor...
plz somebuddy tell me

Easiest way would be to film a dust plate in front of a black screen and screen it where you need it.

You could also try noise mapped to sprites fading out over time.

Would you mind explaining the "noise mapped to sprites" option? I'm not the OP but I'm curious as to how this could be done. Much thanks!

Create a composition, create a solid, apply a Trapcode Particular effect to it.
In the Particular settings for Particle set the Particle Type to Sprite.

Create a new, much smaller layer, apply a turbulence noise, mask it circular and use that layer as a sprite.

Setting this up is much faster than writing this post.
