new laptop for modeling, rendering, etc

So I just sold my old laptop and am looking for something new.

My budget is $900

I want an i7 quad core processor, at least 8 gigs of ram (less would be okay, as i can install some if needed), and a solid video card for rendering

I'd prefer an anti-glare screen around 15 inches, and an SSD if possible.

I have looked at quite a few and have been advised to go with the Lenovo W520 (with the quadro 1000m) but wanted to see what other options I have.

The programs I use primarily are Autodesk Maya, Zbrush, Photoshop, Mudbox, and occasionally others like After Effects and 3DS MAX. I really would like fast render times if possible in these programs.

I am not a gamer, but If there is a video card that can perform on par with rendering functionality that would be great!

I don't mind buying refurbished and would like to get the most powerful computer I can for the money. I don't mind sacrificing some battery life for more power It would also be nice if the laptop wasn't bulky, but doesn't need to be ultrabook thin either.

Any advice and links to computers that fit my specs would be greatly appreciated!

If that's your goal then get a desktop. You're wasting your time with a refurbished laptop.

I have a home i7 setup, but need something to use when I'm not at home

I'm at the point where I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it to get the Lenovo W520 with the Quadro card, or just another laptop in the same price range with a better processor, but not as good video card.

Either could be good options but I have a bias. I'm a fan of Lenovo and I've had several ThinkPad laptops. If you can find one in the budget I'd say go for it.
