Emitter Question about geometry

Sorry, this has been asked before but I cant get it to work. I have an emitter dumping a bunch of boards onto a floor and at frame 140 it looks perfect. How do I turn that moment into geometry. When I hit C or Current State to object on the emitter, all of the objects jump into a column and my wonderful chaotic pile of boards is ruined. I tried baking the Dynamics too but no luck. Gotta be something easy! I am on r15.Thanks for your help! Cheers,D

If you Bake your dynamics and then Make Editable it should work. I just tried it.
Are there any other "effects" in there?
Are all dynamics Baked? Try using the Baking in the Project settings. That would bake all dynamics in your scene.

If that doesn't work, please post a scene so that I can troubleshoot it for you.

Cheers
T

Works here, too. Bake the dynamics tag on the board, run the animation to frame 140, make the emitter editable....

I'm using R15. What version are you using?

it worked without any problem.
Opened your file, selected the emitter and pressed "C".
Here's the file.

As Adam asked, what exact version (Build) of R15 do you have?
