Now THAT is the happy little ice cream van i want to see on the streets of my town! I wonder, what sort of ice cream do they sell. Something like "das ice cream 3000" or "Nuclear Winter" with chocolate bits, mmm, my favorite. And that turret on the roof, it's definitely shooting soap bubbles.
This painting is simply fantastic. Hope you will get an award for it.

Very cool. That would help protect it from over eager kids. I think the design of the truck and such is great and I like some of the decorative motifs, but I think you should've added more ice cream adds/selections on the sides (like when you see the picture menu of the various ice creams and popsicles to choose from). Your detail work is really good and a nice job with perspective. I think I like the front tire and the front/wind shield portion of the truck (with the ice creams over it and such); those are probably my favorite parts. I also like the hand gesture sign on the right side (didn't notice it at first, but cool to spot). Can barely read it though (does it say "Kemp's Class" and a graduation date?). Anyway, the whole piece looks really cool (great truck; but poor gas mileage, all well). Keep it up. Great job.
