Super sticky eyelids

I develop a character with very flexible face. By moving characters brow his eyeballs could squash and stretch, so challenge is to make his eyelids stick to eyeballs. I came up with the idea of using bones for every vertex on eyelid and then use curve to control them and use some script that will get point in mesh surface using joint vector, calculate distance between root bone and that point and simply scale joint according to that distance. I dont think that its the best way to achieve that, it definitely not the easiest one) So i will be very grateful for any ideas
