Smile Learn computer graphics for free, a list of courses

Hi all, I put together this (constantly growing) list of computer graphics courses from various universities, covering multiple topics: http://imsky.co/links/graphics-courses

Hopefully you find it useful, there's a lot of ground covered: rasterization, geometric algorithms, physical simulation, rendering, OpenGL/GLSL, CUDA, GPGPU, particles, fluid dynamics, and so on. If you have any course pages you'd like to add (or any video courses), let me know.

Cool man! Thanks for sharing!

IUPUI has a few things on their site, and some of the stuff from Coursera and MITocw has all the lectures, homework, group forums, and even free textbooks.

Here is another one I found that I didn't see on your list:
http://cs.brown.edu/courses/cs123/labs.html

Some of these from IUPUI have videos for the lectures, including the CS230, CS240, and a few web classes.

CS123 added, but I couldn't immediately find course pages for the Purdue courses. Thanks for the feedback

Hey man,

The links from IUPUI load a bit slowly, but there are several hours of video lectures from Andy Harris that cover the first year of Intro to CS at IUPUI (230 and 240). These are the equvialant of CS1800 and CS1820 at Lafayette.

CS230:

CS240:

N341 Intro to Client Side Programming:

N342 Intro to Server Side Programming:
http://wally.cs.iupui.edu/n342/
N301 C Programming:

N451 Web Game Progamming:

N351 Introduction to Multimedia Programming:

There might be a few more, but I haven't looked through all of them. Check out this link http://cs.iupui.edu/undergraduate/courses/de.

Hey man,

The UC Berkeley 184 course is also on edX.

Theres also a thread on the graphics programming forum where it might be a good idea to post some of this stuff:

These are more comp sci./programming-related courses. The one course from that IUPUI list that's about graphics is http://cs.iupui.edu/courses/csci-43700 but it has no course page available. Even Purdue's selection is sparse, not sure why.

Hey man,

Yea, I would love to see Purdue on coursera or edX. Almost every other Big10 school has free classes and resources online.

I'm hoping to transfer to Lafayette next year, so maybe I can push the issue.

And yea, the Purdue School of Science website is a little dated.
