Just wait until they run it through the Lens-Flare 5000!

Well... I think it isn't really beautyfull, interesting or very new, i have the feeling I have seen 100 similar designs at sciFi-meshes (maybe except the secondary hull). But what realy surprises me is the execution. Especially the outer saucer looks... well just like a basic textured object.. at first I thought that couldn't be the final render, but the screen capture posted by hypercube clearly shows that there isn't much more to it. I guess it'll look much different in the movie, but... well...I am really a bit disapointed, because some of the shots in the trailer looked quite promissing. Well I guess this isn't the kind of movie with slow shots of spaceships in it so it will look good I guess.

Hmm. I also find the small number of 'spot lights' scattered around the surface scales that puppy *right down* when it is on screen by itself.
They seem too big to create monumental scale.

Just google images for 'cruise ship night'. If those real world examples are smaller than the 'regular' Enterprise...
Then the 'monster' suggests the size of a fishing boat to me.

Just saw it in 3D. Awesome and funny like the first but with more of everything.

Benedict Cumberbatch rocked as the villain, what a voice. Many awesome shots, gorgeous planetary renders and new takes on ships/franchise favourites that improve upon yet stay faithful enough to retain the original cool.

Just saw it. It was awful. 3/10 being generous.

Was a bad remake of an earlier Trek.

Lots of things happen to characters you dont care about, that are undone five minutes later anyway.
