Rest in peace Christopher. At age 38 (a year younger than me) is to early to pass away. :(

Chris had been running Realflow workshops with us this year. He was a great teacher and a wonderful, funny personality and he will be missed by us all. Our hearts go out to his young family.

I worked with Chris on Aardman's The Pirates! last year, he was really great guy to work with - very friendly, funny and helpful.

Chris did the simulation on the Sea Monster shot in the film http://vimeo.com/49110343

This is absolutely true about Chris... I've worked with him a few times and he was always a good guy to be around, just as you described. In spite of his skills, he didn't put on airs or become hardened with confidence like a lot people tend to do in this industry. He was equally talented and a pleasure to work with. An excellent FX artist and a solid pro. My heart goes out to his wife and children whom he leaves behind.
