haha you noob....1st thing to do after added a Hair modifier...? Zero out those damn Frizz and Kinks !!!Of course, you can dial it back later on...but to get a handle on things...zero them out first. (which is what I've done in my sample file) |

The tab was closed; I took it for granted that it was zero'ed out...cuz what kind of nutbar would start hair looking like the end result of a mating 'twixt finger and lightsocket?
My bad, I guess, but it's still a rather ludicrous default setting. |

Okay, I have another question, if you can help me out...
Is there a way to mirror/instance hair so that you don't have to style each side of someone's noggin separately? I've tried mirroring the geometry, but the hair keeps ending up on the inside of the head, even if I've flipped the normals. And copy/pasting the hairstyle from within the mod doesn't help, either. You'd think they'd have seen this coming and made it easier. Or...even possible. Thanks. |
