Pixlr - Browser-Based Online "Photoshop Clone"

Just came across this:

http://pixlr.com/editor/

It runs in a web browser, looks a lot like Photoshop, and has many of the basic tools and image-editing capabilities that Photoshop or Gimp have, including filters, image adjustments, clone brush, multiple undos, layers, et cetera.

The most useful use of this would be when you are stuck using a computer somewhere that has no Photoshop or Gimp installed on it, and you need to do some quick image-editing...

A neat little online app that is worth bookmarking, I think!

That one is pretty good as well. Seems to have more options in the "Image Filter" department than the one I posted.

Its good that these Photoshop Clones exist.

I'm on a machine right now that doesn't have Photoshop/Gimp installed, and these online tools really help in such a situation...

Also DeviantArt have a nice online tool for sketching like MyPaint and SketchbookPro, you can save straight to your deviant account, Muro:

^^This^^ . I got stuck working on a machine that has no Photoshop the other day, and Pixlr did the trick nicely.

Of course, there is always GIMP, which is also free. But it isn't possible to install GIMP on just any machine. In some places the IT folks don't like it when you install software without their knowledge...
