Silo's 2 unwrap technology

"As to texture mapping, we've got the framework in place but are working on licensing details for a particular texture unwrapping algorithm that should prove very effective."

This is great news.

Ok what do you think it's going to be : unfold 3D ?

i will let jamchild or feed let the cat out of the bag. but its def the 'newer' type mapping that is all the rage at the moment.

Does it work well ? I sincerely hate mapping, there's nothing artistisc about mapping so I really hope it makes it easy.
