Thank you tewicks for your kind words. Airwolf was my favourite TV show when I was younger so this project is very personal to me, I hope to make some updates soon.

It's been a very very long time since I've posted any updates on this project and it's been on my mind in recent weeks so here's a small update (and hopefully more regular from now on), starting on the tail section.

I've now started on the tail section but had to remodel the back of the main body.

I decided to remodel the back area to get a smoother shape and more of a constructed look and to make this as detailed as possible adding opening sections

Tail rotor

It's been a while since I have made any updates on this project (over things been getting in the way) and have recently been re-watching Airwolf to help get back into the swing of things. Here is a small update in what promises to be a monumental task for me, modelling the tail rotor as accurate as possible. Here is a start below.

After finding yet another reference image some subtle remodelling was required, because this area has so much detail I have decided to add a little more detail then move on (and partly because it is feeling a little tedious)

A foreseeable problem...

It's been a while since I have updated this project but I had been looking at a problem in terms of functionality, as the reference image shows the actual full sized chopper has logistical isues when it comes to the side guns.

The model version cheats as this does not include the landing gear so I feel I am going to have use some creative license with my version by having a flap covering the retractable gear area that will fold down
