Modelling a Cartoon Fish
Hey Guys, I'm new to this forum, mainly like to focus on animation over at 11secondclub, but for a shrot film I am required to model some cartoony fish characters, I've got a fair bit of modelling eperience, but I'm really struggling with how to get started modelling these guys, they're a lot like the dory from finding nemo, in terms of eye placement and general facial anatomy.
Any advice on how to start a character like this or some kind of tutorial would be amazing!!

I would model it like i would model any organic creature, starting with a plane, extruding my way around and making sure there's good topology for defomation:
