Question about dynamics using rayfire

I have a small animation using rayfire and reactor that involves balls dropping on a spiral ramp and when they get to the end of the ramp they hit a lever which triggers another ball to drop. I got it all to work except the lever part. When the balls hit the lever they dont move it. Anybody got a good tutorial on that subject? Or any suggestion about why they dont have enough mass to move the lever? Does the lever pivot point have to bee exactly in the middle so the balls don't have to push so hard?
