Time playground
Hi. It's my entry. It's 3D work, with very few painted elements (mostly shadows, masks etc.). It was realy hard to create shaders and mood of Yerka's painting, but I hope I've succeded ;). Image use few textures (ground, bark, pipes, buildings), and some procedural shaders (water, ground and sand displacement, plants). If you have any questions, feel free to ask. __________________

Wow, for a 3d entry you definitely got the shading and colours. Funny cos this is very similar to an idea I had at the start which I didn't go with - I had the floating city, the pipes and the similar egg timer shape also!
That tree shader is sweet, I had a nightmare time drawing trees and stuff in the 'Yerka style' but this 3d version looks great. |
