Getting range out of 16bit tifs

Hi I have a matte painting in 16 bit tif format. Im trying to get more range out of the colors. The way you would with floating point. Are there any tricks to faking this in fusion? I noticed the glow tool will push whites past a value of 1. Any thing else I can do.

Thanks!!

you will stil be limited to the values you image has, but you can change the bit depth of the loader to a float format.

you can change this in the loader import tab or you use a changeDepth node
