Set a Spot/Area Light's Raytraced Shadow Rays/Radius value override on 1 object.
I'm trying to find a way of setting either a Spot or Area Light's Raytraced Shadow Rays and Radius value override on just 1 object without using creating a second light in the same spot using light/shadow-linking techniques.
Similar in the method you can add Final Gather, Rasterizer, Anti-aliasing,Caustics, GI etc. overrides in the mentalray tab in the object's shape node. Cheers, Guys! |

Sorry I don't have a solution for you, but just curious why you don't want to go the light-linking route?
