Issue with rendering screen captured video.

I have to try and export an avi into a flv format for a client. the supplied video format is avi. When i render the video set to flv. the cursor used in the video to make the demonstration ends up flickering and flashing. Just curious if there is something to do to prevent this from happening. I've tried a few settings and other formats. Checked that the frame rates are all the same from the original capture video to the export. Not sure what is causing this. The video was captured using CamStudio if anyone knows if that makes a difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

Does AE import files like avis? I haven't had a windows file for a while and I can't recall if its wmv or avi that AE doesn't like, at least CS4. I would suggest using a video converting software like handbrake if you simply need to convert it to an flv. Does the flickering happen in the original AVI file?

As for the solution, I suggest use AppGeeker Video Converter (both win and mac version available).

It should get you through what you have. It basically converts anything to anything so you shouldn't have any problem finding something that works.
