House With a View, max nimos (3D)

Title: House With a View
Name: max nimos
Country: USA
Software: Bryce, XSI

I used many of my own photo textures to make this. Rendered in Bryce, modeled in both Bryce and XSI, and some postwork applied.

Really cool concept and image.

My only cc is that the grass beneath the house could be more varied in terms of length and colour and perhaps a touch more contrast would help here imo, but I really like everything else, especially the sky.

/\ Agreed. The grass is the only thing that stands out to me. Especially since everything has a very desaturated look, the grass feels a bit out of place, but that's me being picky! The sky, the mountains in the back and the rocks up close all look beautiful!

Living On The Edge

Great atmosphere, clouds and rock textures. Perhaps the grass round house is a bit saturated given the atmospheric conditions.

Smile

I made the grass noticeably green to focus the attention on the home, and to add some color to a scene that's supposed to be happy. By the way, I often see real grass that looks very green just after a rain.
