Maya to Nuke obj export

Hello I am trying to export an Obj and its materials to take it into Nuke. I need the obj with all of the textures as several .jpgs separated by Type (Incandescence, Ambient Occlusion, Color, etc..). From watching a tutorial you can do this with a basic export through 3ds max, yet I cannot discern how to do this in Maya. The object is already textured, I don't need a UV map to paint, I just need to get what is textured out to Nuke.

best guess is to bake the textures in maya, export them as new jpg (or whatever), export the obj

load the obj in nuke, load the textures and assign them to the obj

but be aware that the shading system in nuke isnt that adavanced that it would support AO or Incandescence. you have diffuse color and specularity for a phong/blinn material
