Tap In Dream On V1.0, David Michael Mcclain - Imagetap (3D)

Title: Tap In Dream On V1.0
Name: David Michael Mcclain - Imagetap
Country: Usa
Software: Lightwave/photoshop

This image was created by a collaboration of myself and several other artists. The idea was to generate something that conveyed our studios ability to take the archaic, dissorganized conundrum of an idea and refine that and distill it into something amazing and dreamlike. It is currently running in Creativity Magazine's September issue.
3D was used exclusively on the Tap and all elements creating the background as well as several minute details in the head itself, including the subtle wirefram and supporting structures underneath. Photography and detailed illustration were then used to generate the primary foreground element. All of these were combined in Photoshop.
My purpose in posting here is simply to garner additional critique and suggestions to improve this as I am currently working on v2.0.
