ive been wokring on getting togather an online portfolio for the last week or so, and i need more 2d, so heres the first one ive done, im gonna make her in 3d as well soon

its my first all photoshop painting would love some c&c im debating weather or not to add colour tones

Pretty good, very similar to the style of Kazuma Kaneko, the game and character designer for the "Persona" video games.

I like the idea behind it but don't really think you're tapping into Photoshop's potential. It looks vector based without any shadows or gradients. I'd like to see some added detail with some color added. Good job though, especially being your first Photoshop painting.

thatnks for the c&c guys, i agree with you id like to paint and add more colour im not sure of any good aproches to attemp this tho, ive tried the dodge burn which i like but i dont htink it suits this character.

anyone have any good tutorial on differnt painting techniques?
