[B]Import from Max -> rendering problems[\B]

Hey guys,
I've got a problem with rendering of Turbosquid Human Anatomy model imported into Maya from Max (in Max: opened .max original file -> fbx export with autodesk media presets).
The model looks normal in a viewport of Maya, however, as soon as I render, the model surface looks "wrinkled", especially in Software, but also in Mental Ray. I checked that in the bump channel I used the tangent space normals, so it is not because the normal map was interpreted by Maya as bump. Any idea what can be the problem? Thanks!

It could be that your normal map really looks like that but it's simply not showing up in your viewport. Try switch to viewport 2.0 or high quality.

I don't think maya software can render normal maps.
