Attach clone to null?

I ran across this thread:

attach null to clone?
http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php?t=622529

which references this excellent thread that came up with a couple xpresso solutions to creating nulls that track onto clones.
http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthr...clone+hierarchy

Well, I want the exact opposite. I have some nulls that I want to attach clones onto. Ideally, this would use clones placed in a Fracture Objects (since all the nulls need to stay in the position they are in). The motion tracked nulls don't move, but the camera does.

I'd really appreciate some help. Right now I'm parenting geometry to each null, then doing a PSR=0, and putting those nulls into a Fracture object. Does the job, but fairly tedious. (I have over 100 nulls )

I would drag all those Nulls into a Tracer and set it to "Connect All Objects",
so the Tracer becomes a Spline with a Vertex Point at each Null's Position.

Then add a Cloner in Object Mode, and Clone onto the Tracer, with Distribution set to Vertex.

Now your Clones will stick to your Nulls, even if they (need to) move.

Doesn't that already do what you're looking for ?

That's very clever! I hadn't thought of that. Worked great!
