Sando Aqua Monster, Ruturaj Arolkar (raj) (3D)

Title: Sando Aqua Monster
Name: Ruturaj Arolkar (raj)
Country: United States
Software: Maya 5.0

Source: "The art of star wars" Episode 1- the phantom menace...

This is just FAN ART...Terryl Whitlatch's illustrations in the book look awesome...thought this would be a good nurbs modeling exercise...i had to model this guy ....They never used this particular concept of the sando aqua monster in the movie...i think it looks really dynamic and hence i made this effort....I used MAYA 5.0 and rendered in Mental Ray.

Very cool work - looks exactly like the film version. And you're right, the monster does look extremely cool. No textures, though?
