128 x 256 textures?

Im making an in-game object for Dota 2's workshop and the specified texture for what im modeling (a tail for Doom) is 128H x 256W... how do I set this up to layout my UVs in maya?
- Thanks in advance!

in the uv editor --> image --> use image ratio
and you have to load a dummy texture (128x256) in the shader first...

Wait a second. This simply squashes everything Now when I rotate a shell, it squashes and skews. Any way to avoid this?
