Smile Cloud...like in Astro Boy

Hi,

I'm working on an animation of Superman. He's flying around clouds...i tried to replicate the clouds that we can see in the astro boy movie. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gl_l8SgtHQ - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpHCX90W_5U)

In the making of ,they said that the clouds were made with Nurbs Spheres. I did the same thing to my scene but now, i can't figure out how to convert theses nurbs into good looking clouds.

does anyone can help me please ??? i'm working in Maya

They could be used as container for fluids.

Normally, what you see in the layout are just place holders. The real thing could be made from anything even from different software.

The one I really want to play with is Houdini's cloud rig.

Maya Fluids are great for clouds. They light nicely, and render fairly quickly.
