Sorry, couldn't help myself. Just a joke.

Hahaha. I'd argue there aren't enough of us doing that. At least not enough that do it "a certain way".

I agree that as a skills platform everything coming out of Gobellins and Bellecour that is at the level of Monsterbox definitely lands them the job.

Again... as a "student" I just pick apart everything. And that leads to observations (not Hatred!). That's all.

At least we don't get any comments about emotional implications of the character

Well if anything, I was recognizing what a masterclass the French animators have been with coming up with how to make the characters emote.

Maybe they're doing it the same way, or doing it too often... But I never said it wasn't effective.

No no, don't worry. I never read it as offensive.
I was just adding a different perspective.

None taken.

Actually in the end my main observation was... You know.. cause you hear all the time about all the guidelines you can use to make sure you blow stuff up real good.. or that you have nice looking chases... when to use wides, etc.

It was just that I was just beginning to notice that there seemed to be a similar thing going for all these "Senti scenes". Not even saying I'd shun its use... I mean... If I could learn this and apply it...or at least recognize it if it's working....

Like I said.. it's a learning thing.
