hey, this challenge is super awesome... i just hope i can hold my own against so many awesome artists out there! =) here is my first concept ... did it in illustrator... tell me what you think...

cool idea.

A robot venus fly trap?

For a second I thought it was a grill.

If you put it in the proper setting it could be awesome. like in the bushes of a bank or some defensive position kind of thing.

will be interesting to see where you take it.

HA! thats a good point Clay... I didn't really stand back and look at it but now that you point it out, it does look like a grill!! haha, i will do another sketch. HA!

I know what you mean about the setting tho, i have been brainstorming that too... I will post another pic later. Thxs for the comment.

here is a closer look at the stabalizer attachment that is grafted into the stock of the fly trap... hope you peeps enjoy!

alright, here is a little update... its slow goings cause i am so busy but its coming along. this is the collar for the stalk of the fly trap. tell me what you guys/gals think. 'preciate it. laterz!
