Hey
very nice job.. i'd guess its a painter done job on first guess.

Courious - i don't know whether or not you're muslem, but i've noticed alot of muslem artists started recently to make alot of muslem oriented work. maybe it has to do with some sort of patriotic automatic mechanism since islam is looked upon by the western world, lately, as the cause or at least origin of most of its problems (terrorists and iraq).

just an anecdote, i might be wrong.

first of all good work Marek, it really has a feel of a mosque yard, open and sunny.

I believe so opeth, out of many voices art is another way to communicate , if not, atleast lets you take out your feelings into an image - which i think is real art.

anyways good work marek.

first > thanks for comment guys!

Opeth&Aazimkhan > i'm not muslem, and to be frankly, islam is one of my less favourite religions ... i don't like its rigidity .... but fact is that i'm bit of fascinated of muslem architecture and history ... when i was child i was fond of Tales of Thousand and One Nights and still i'am

.. and despite of fact I feel completely Occidental, i had taste for something Oriental

SteveV > i like David Roberts

Nice at the 1st look.
My c&C:
- the yellow on the entry door doesn't fit in the color compostition
- the 2 towers (munare) aren't equal, but they should be
- the halfmoon on the top of the munare is oversized
- all those "windows" in the far have a oval top, but this isn't islamic arhitecture. That what you've drawn where those 2 man are standing is islamic, 'cause it has a peak. Oval windows are churchy

And if I may ask you, how did you conclude that islam is full of rigidity?
