The Ship yards, dustin burdess (3D)

Title: The Ship yards
Name: dustin burdess
Country: USA
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, Vue

The sun is setting on the ship yards of Gelis Prime.

I used 3ds max for the models and textures and rendered everthing in Vue.

Well for a couple of reasons, I want to get used to using the program so it's kind of just practice I taught myself the program so I'm still learning the ins and outs of it. The other reason is just personal preference I've used Max for most everything I do and have done I'm not really happy with the lighting system they use it takes more time to get the same effect as Vue. Now that Vue works inside the Max program I will be able to use both a bit faster and easier. I guess I could say it's rendered in max using the Vue render plugin but it was just easier to say it was rendered in Vue.
