Downfallen Church, Hao Aiqiang (3D)

Title: Downfallen Church
Name: Hao Aiqiang
Country: China
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop

I get the inspiration of this image from an architect's sketch.
maybe the actual building has built in germany. but I never seen
this building.
I add some detail with my illusion. sleeped garbage old newspaper,
garbage and weed.
imply the religion already wither away.

i like the the image but it is even better because we can see the day and night at the same place. (is there anybody living there?)

awesome textures and lighting! the day/night contrast blew me away.
you definitely got that run down, old post-war european feel.
where do you get/how do you make your textures?

quality work, you've done the original design a great justice with the 3D.

very awesome rendering!
nothing to say about lighting or textures.
perhaps you can liven up the scene with a dog or something other that lives there. place some birds in the sky!
4 stars!

*edit* the trees on the right rendering are a great variety for the eye! perhaps you can enhance the scene by extending it in this kind of way?
