FXGuide pointed out the films which missed the cut, I found that kinda interesting:
  • Man of Steel
  • Oz the Great and Powerful
  • Wolverine
  • The Great Gatsby
  • Enderís Game
  • After Earth
  • Hunger Games: Catching Fire
Man of Steel and Ender's Game in particular were very strong I would have thought.

I'm really surprised that Man of Steel isn't nominated, the destruction was on a whole other level imao.

I can't help but love giant robots, hope Pacific Rim will win.
