3ds max export probelm

hello
i have strange problem .....
i have character and i make animation .... i point cashe the character ok ?
and the charter vertx number is 5198 , its wirtten in both point cashe and object properties
when i export that character as OBJ by export and selct extention gw:obj-exporter (obj)
and if i get this charater to simulation program or even i get it back to 3ds max
suddenly i found that the vertex became 5197 and thats strange .....
and also i try all the object export parameters to check and uncheck ...the options appear and
the problem still remains ...
i asked a friend about this problem and he tolds me he had it too and he used max 9 to export obj and it works fine with him ......strange solution
so any ideas ???

if you can send me the offending mesh (the max-file), just the mesh without animation,
incl. your export-settings !!
i can check whats happening...
