3Ds Max CAT tail curl/FK

Hello, question that Ive seen few times on different places but never answered:

When using CAT tail, selecting bone and all its childs, then rotating it, standard behavior should be that tail will curl, but for some reason my parent bone just rotates and child bones with it. Ive tried it few times, followed exact step of video tutorial but nothing helped.

Also Ive found one post where someone mentioned it suddenly stopped working for him (it was curling before but suddenly it doesnt, also no answer). So I suppose it is something easily overlooked (Ive tried few things and was digging through motion and IK tabs for hours but nothing helped).

Any advice would be great.
