Maya mentalray - proxy zdepht problem
I have a problem with my render . i need a zdepht for my scene which contain a lot of instances and proxy grass and tree .
the problem here is that i used the old method to get the zdepht , " maya envFog " and i always get the wight color in the middle of the scene , i triend to change all the setting but no change .
Any tips for how to get zdepht for proxies in mental ray ??

You don't want to use fog, you want to use the Camera Depth pass. Do a search here in the rendering section for zdepth or camera depth and you'll find a wealth of threads on the topic!
