Shave & Haircut, Mental Ray...Alpha alwas white ???

I'm trying to render shave hair with mental ray but the alpha is always completely white. When I remove the hair the always is perfectly black/white. When I try to change the "Pass Custom Alpha Channel" from active to inactive and render it automatically get's activated again. When I look the atribute with off the shave don't get rendered....any idea ??? thanks
