mip_matteshadow

Hi all together

Actually i am trying to make the mip_matteshadow work.
But i cant make it work correctly for my work.

So what i want is to simulate exact the use of the Use Background shader in Maya but this time for Mr.

My scene is i have Camera with a Backplate in the Cameras Enviromentslot. an i have some Primitives and a Plane for my Ground. And now my Primitives should cast a AO Shadow to the Ground. But i dont want composite later in Post, so i need it for my Workflow to see it in a Fianl Render composed.

Have anybody some tips how connect the shader on a right way?

I also try the workflow on http://mentalraytips.blogspot.com/2...r-examples.html
but he use some other nodes for the Enviroment and Backplate Projections, wich i dont use.

Hello!

I posted a little mini tutorial a while back.

NOTE* There is a step omitted in the procedure on purpose. DJX had commented on one step in the procedure that was a mistake and it is already fixed in the thread.
