3ds Max 2013 Error code 193

I posted this over on the Area forums but I thought someone here might know something about this...

Just installed 3ds Max update 5 and now I get the following error message on startup.
Max goes on to open normally after this and (as far as I can tell) is operating normally.

DLL <C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2013\stdplugs\update1.dlo> failed to initialize.
Error code 193 - %1 is not a valid Win32 application

I guess I can just delete update1.dlo but I'd love to know what's going on here...

That is the plugin for Editable Mesh objects. Also, if you are getting that error then something went wrong with your install. I would uninstall and reinstall the PU.
