Magic Symmetry question

I was wondering if anybody here has spent a lot of time using the Magic Symmetry plugin by Nitro4d. I've been working with it a bit and really like the way it works (especially for inner extrusions, etc.) but I'm having problems if I try to use the tag on a model that I've created and then try to mirror.

In other words, things work fine if I apply it the same way it's shown in the video, to a cube that's not yet editable until you press the Create button. But if I apply the tag to an object that's already editable and press Create, either part or all of my object disappears. I must be doing something wrong.

Working in C4D 14.
Thanks

No idea but it looks like just another copy of the old mesh surgery mirror vice tag, check the scripts section of my wiki for a free script which does exactly the same only deriving its behavior from the symmetry object itself. http://www.peranders.com/wiki/Mirror_Vice

Thanks Per-Anders, I remember that script from way back...wasn't sure if it still worked, will take a look.
