texture tu weight Mao

Hi guy,

I have a little problem, I want to convert a 2d black and white texture in a weight maps. (I want to use my 2d texture as a pattern to scatter stuff on my surface) I'm using softimage 2012

This was an answer to an old archived thread on here about the same thing:



Though you don't need to convert the texture to a weightmap, just add the texture map property and you can look up the point texture map color directly in ice to use as a filter for scattering etc.
