Creature Design, Aaron St.goddard (2D)
Title: Creature Design
Name: Aaron St.goddard
The usual stuff. Just a creature design done with col-erase pencil and ink on 8 x 11 copy paper and colored in Photoshop. Any crits would be appreciated. Thanks :)
I'll also try to post more often if I can get some free time away from work.

I am happy to be the first one to say that it is an amazing concept
I am not sure to fully understand the head, but anyway, I really like your work.

it is a very nice conecpt... i agree with making the lower part a little bit heavy to gain balance or find a more dynamic structure for the legs. Nice work!

Well, I'll go against the herd and say I like the smaller legs. Sometimes you really have to experiment with unusual combinations if you want to design something that hasn't been seen before. I would suggest perhaps though, that with such beefy arms and the more frail looking legs that a lot of it's forward momentum when walking might be with the arms. Kind of ape style where the arms have most of the power and the legs are used merely for support. If that was the case a different pose showcasing it might more easily show that.
A lot of nice elements to the design overall, to bad so much attention was focused on the legs.
